Work Hours/Shift:
PRN Evenings
You Will Be Responsible For:

  1. Assists co-workers to maintain quality patient care.
  2. Attends hospital/departmental meetings and in-services.
  3. Completes tech reports accurately and scans them into PACS in a timely manner.
  4. Complies with Joint Commission requirements related to their duties.
  5. Complies with procedure protocols
  6. Utilizes the AIDET principles when interacting with patients, visitors and coworkers.
  7. Complies with regulations under the HIPAA law.
  8. Complies with The Joint Commission requirements related to their duties.
  9. Demonstrates an organized approach to work load.
  10. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies related to emergencies.
  11. Documents and reports any patient incident in a timely manner.
  12. Documents in patient charts when appropriate.
  13. Establishes appropriate factors to perform quality images.
  14. Limited access to medication.
  15. Participates in departmental quality assurance program and departmental projects.
  16. Provide assistance to radiologist and/or physician.
  17. Rotates call coverage.
  18. Promotes positive attitude in the workplace; encourages others to do the same.
  19. Supports hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
  20. Takes verbal orders and documents appropriately in patients’ medical record
  21. Verifies orders for appropriateness and compliance.
  22. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Appropriate technical skills in Ultrasound
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 
  • Academic and clinical training in Ultrasound
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
 
    • Minimum one (1) year experience
 
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
 
  • BLS
  • Eligible to sit for the registry
  • Must successfully pass US registry within a year of employment
