Work Hours/Shift:


You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Performs high quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures to include general sonography, OB, and vaginal probe.

  • Provide for patient safety during transport and testing related to procedure performed. 

  • Demonstrate proper use of imaging equipment and procedures associated with imaging patients of all ages.

  • Document procedures including patient education, quality assurance and charge posting. 

  • Consistently assists in routine functions of department to maintain high patient satisfaction. 

  • Performs on-call procedures.

  • Responsible for calibrating and cleaning all ultrasound equipment. 

  • Works closely with radiologist to identify abnormalities resulting from exam.


What You Will Need:

  • Must have completed a one to two year formal school for Diagnostic Ultrasonography or equivalent, documented on-the-job training. 

  • Must have experience in Abdominal, OB, Gynecology, and Small Parts sonography. Vascular experience is a plus.

  • Must have certification with ARDMS in Abdominal Sonography, OB/Gyn Sonography, or Vascular Sonography or certification in ARRT.

  • Must hold a current BLS certificate in C.P.R.

Job Summary:

To participate in the care of the patient by providing high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assist in the diagnosis and management of illness and injury on a variety of patient age groups.
