The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of the national sourcing efforts to develop a robust pipeline of talent in support of efficient fulfillment of Adventist Health System’s hiring needs. Other duties include research advanced sourcing trends by subscribing to leading sourcing journals, websites. Test new souring tools do determine effectiveness and appropriateness for the sourcing team.  Recommend new sourcing tools to sourcing team leaders and sourcing manager. Train staff with using new sourcing tools. Improve sourcing department by looking at opportunities for improvements. Create advanced research techniques to find top health care talent through various mediums including databases, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods Works closely with Sourcing Manager, Recruiting Strategy Team Leads, and facility management to understand position requirements and establish effective sourcing venues. Sourcing also works on specialized hard to fill roles that traditionally might have gone to search. The sourcing team mimics traditional search firms but from the framework of an internal talent acquisition department. The Senior Sourcing Specialist is expected to meet or exceed hires metric for position. As well the Senior Sourcing Specialist is expected to complete one process improvements project per quarter. Other functions include mentoring and teaching other Sourcing Specialists. Senior Sourcing Specialists on the logistics lead all logistic projects for the department including campus hiring events, national conferences, and legacy school conferences.
Qualifications
What you will be responsible for:
  • Research advanced sourcing trends by subscribing to leading sourcing journals, websites.
  • Test new souring tools do determine effectiveness and appropriateness for the sourcing team.  
  • Recommend new sourcing tools to Sourcing team leaders and sourcing manager.
  • Train staff with using new sourcing tools.
  • Improve sourcing department by looking at opportunities for improvements.
  • Create advanced research techniques to find top health care talent through various mediums including databases, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods
  • Develop and executes recruitment sourcing strategy to ensure a constant flow of high quality leads and names into assigned key pipelines and requisitions.
  • Meet or exceed hires target metric for position.
  • Convert potential candidates on the benefits of working at the various facilities in order to get them interested in positions. 
  • Screen candidates to determine suitability for positions.
  • Develop internal relationships with recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Create and present sourcing strategies to executives and other stake holders.
  • Gather and prepares data to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategy.
  • Analyze and reports on sourcing metrics to Team leads and Sourcing Manager
  • Build candidate pipeline and maintains responsibility for ongoing candidate relationship management.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of company policies and benefit plans.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as either a corporate Sourcer or recruiter from a search firm is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare sourcing and or recruiting.
  • Ability to use advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean, and data mining.
  • Experience mentoring and training staff.
  • Experience sourcing with major sourcing tools Indeed, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Monster, and Ziprecruiter.
