We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Digital Content Specialist position that will be based in our Digital Marketing department.  This position is based at our regional office in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The Senior Digital Content Specialist is the expert in execution, development and management of strategic, multi-channel content for the Adventist Health System Digital Marketing department. This role will implement content that supports the strategic vision of the Content Strategy Department. It requires excellence in communication, content experience, and thought leadership.
Specific job duties include:
  • Support the execution of strategic goals for the Content Strategy Department.
  • Manage the development of compelling, multi-channel content for websites, blogs, email marketing, social media, video scripts, and campaign collateral.
  • Approve content developed by marketing gatekeepers and community managers prior to being deployed by digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and measure current and future content to develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business improvements.
  • Develop the implementation, analysis, and optimization of content for all digital channels and campaigns.
  • Implement digital storytelling best practices to ensure content is compelling, engaging, and memorable.
  • Deliver content across patient journeys and consumer decision cycles.
  • Construct content creation goals and tactics, including the development of content strategies and associated editorial calendars to propel engagement with Adventist Health System.
  • Recommend content strategy to stakeholders based on information through content analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, focus group testing, and metrics.
  • Review workflows for content lifecycle processes that include: content creation, review, and approval and content publishing.
  • Manage content inventories, audits, analyses, and migrations across multiple digital platforms.
  • Analyze message mapping, content audits, etc. to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee education on and adherence to brand standards, digital brand standards, style guides and approved messaging for all digital content.
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards and accuracy/quality of content.
  • Generate website traffic by producing content that ranks and converts.
  • Monitor and update the status of content jobs assigned on a daily basis, and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Provide social media and email marketing content strategy.
  • Manage and adhere to digital content governance models.
  • Measure the effectiveness of content solutions including: ROI, content/brand integrity, content accuracy and relevance, efficiencies gained in content lifecycle improvements.
  • Implement and maintain editorial calendars to align content releases with service launches, business activities and promotions.
  • Manage website content and information architecture/structure for optimum, most intuitive consumer.
  • Display high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.


Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Windows Applications: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio
  • Excellent skills in Facebook Business Manager and social media platforms
  • Proficient in Salesforce Social Studio preferred
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Google AdWords preferred
  • Conceptual knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems, Search Engine Optimization, and Search Engine Marketing preferred
 Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English
  • 4-7 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
Licensure, Certification or Registration Preferred:
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Social Specialist
