We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Content Strategist Senior position that will be based in our Human Resources department. This position is based in Altamonte Springs, FL.  

This position provides the opportunity to be responsible for driving the development of Adventist Health System’s careers content strategy. Establishes, grows and maintains a content style guide that ensures a consistent tone across all Adventist Health System mediums relevant to Strategic HR. Aligns the content strategy with recruitment and talent objectives. Plays a critical role in the development of internal/external brand strategies used by Strategic Human Resources. Articulates complex concepts and information into content strategies to accomplish the strategic objectives of the team. Oversees the creative process encompassing the publication of digital and print content. Accountable for ensuring content is delivered clearly, accurately while maintaining the highest communication standards. Devises and manages the tactical plan for the organization's career brand, guaranteeing key objectives are met. Responsible for managing and aligning content across all digital platforms, ensuring key messaging is successfully delivered. Provides leadership during the creative brainstorming and planning process of initiatives relevant to the department.


Specific job duties include:

  • Develops and maintains a content style guide to ensure a consistent voice is used across all Adventist Health System recruitment marketing materials.
  • Edits and proofreads content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy, ensuring it meets the highest possible standards and always aligns with key brand messaging.
  • Leads the content planning process during business planning to create an integrated user experience throughout the candidate journey.
  • Oversees the creation and publication of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, etc.) within COE and Shared Service HR.
  • Distills complex information into simple messages and communicates concepts in a way that’s relatable and relevant to candidates.
  • Develops a social media content strategy and works with team members to implement.
  • Oversees the implementation of a tactical plan for Adventist Health System’s career brand.
  • Manages content across all social platforms, ensuring it consistently aligns with key brand messages and social strategy.
  • Reviews and approves content calendars, providing guidance throughout the content generation process as necessary.
  • Takes a leadership role in creative brainstorming for recruitment campaigns, events, and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Creative Services to set achievable deadlines for marketing materials. Oversees the creation of all pieces and ensures the timely delivery of collateral.
  • Conducts research and analyzes AHS’s content performance, using analytics and insights to recommend strategic improvements.
  • Serves as a subject-matter expert, providing support for executive-level presentations, communications, and reports as necessary.
  • Monitors online platforms for content that impacts Adventist Health System from a recruitment perspective (favorable and unfavorable).
  • Takes a creative approach to implementing new strategies and crafting appealing content that improves the AHS employment brand and engages job candidates.
  • Fosters the development of a digital asset library crucial to the success of the team’s digital strategy.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience creating content in a marketing, human resources, communications or related field.
  • 2 years of experience with expository writing in a corporate communications environment
  • Experience serving as a resource for external teams

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, human resources or related field.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and online publishing tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital web platforms/principles (blogs, forums, landing pages, social media, html etc.) and SEO principles
