Sales Coordinator – Retail Division’s Web Store – Orlando – Part-Time

Florida Hospital Orlando seeks to hire a Sales Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,107-bed Florida Hospital Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. Florida Hospital Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year.

Work Hours/Shifts:

Monday – Friday; Flexible hours except Mondays 11:45am – 1:30pm

Job Summary:

Assists manager with training of paid and volunteer staff, and is responsible for the overall quality of store to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the gift shop. Assists sales associates in solving problems, handling customer inquiries, et cetera. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Ability to stay abreast of the latest trends.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Strong selling skills.
  • Efficient on POS system
  • Accurate math skills.
  • Goal seeker and achiever.
  • At least two years of retail sales experience.
  • High School Diploma (preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Verifies that customer transactions are corrected if an issue arises.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely acceptance of transfers.
  • Trains sales and volunteer team on customer service, POS system, trends, product knowledge, et cetera.
  • Recognizes the vital role of customer service and places a high priority on building customer loyalty.
  • Verifies that products have tags, product is shelved and displayed appropriately, and that store is clean and customer friendly.
  • Keeps current on departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assists manager in achieving budgetary goals and quality initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
