Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time / Day
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Maintains resident rotation schedules, evaluations, annual training requirements and portfolios in data entry systems as required by the accrediting body, the Program and Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center.Supports program director in all programmatic activities such as scheduling resident intern, exams, and call schedules for residents, and PDO time for residents.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree - Required

  • Intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Office Suites products
Job Summary:
The Residency Coordinator has responsibilities for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and other post-graduate training programs. The focus is on the daily requirements of the residency program including the management of compliance with accreditation requirements, program recruitment, management of resident needs and schedules, management of scheduling for medical students and departmental activities. This position is responsible for all on-boarding and the recruiting process for new residents as well as the ongoing maintenance of all the stages of residency.
