You Will Be Responsible For:

Scope of Responsibility:

•         Oversees the recruitment, hiring, training, engagement and ensures staff competencies for quality care and optimum outcomes.

•         Collaborates with other departments/service lines/ programs to establish processes that ensure successful operations.

•         Participates in the design and implementation of customer services initiatives.

•         Identifies and collaborates with other departments/ Programs/ service lines/ business units to solve problems as they relate to patients, employees, stakeholders and others.

•         Establishes reporting and approval procedures and communicates to Campus and Rehabilitation Administration the status of the operations.


Compliance/Regulatory Responsibility:

•         Assures that practices are in compliance with rules, regulations, standards and guidelines of local, state, and federal accrediting and regulatory agencies

  • Ensures that policies, procedures and practices of the specific departments are consistent with the hospital goals, policies and procedures and in accordance with regulating and accrediting bodies.
  • Maintains the staff and environment in a continuous stage of readiness to ensure safe practices. 


Operating & Capital Budget/Financial Responsibility:

•         Develops budget using a sound understanding of operational impact.

•         Monitors and address operational and financial variances.

•         Utilize strategic and operational thinking for capital requests. 

•         Develops a business plan in accordance with FH and Campus priorities.

Strategic Planning Responsibility:

  • Develops and deploys strategic and operational decisions that affect multi-disciplinary, intra-departmental and campus operations.

•         Develops and implements a workforce plan.

Performance Improvement Responsibility:

•         Proactively initiates and promotes quality improvement ideas.

•         Facilitates evidence based and best practices for care delivery.

•         Pursues further development of leadership skills.

•         Develops and implements talent management plans.

•         Gathers, analyze and reports metrics data.

•         Identify service gaps, develops and implement corrective action plans.

Community Relations Responsibility:

•         Supports and promotes staff participation in events sponsored by FH.

•         Promotes the FH brand in the community.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field

•         Minimum of five years of experience within a hospital or rehabilitation setting

•         Current, valid State of Florida license in Rehabilitation Field

•         Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 

Job Summary:

The Rehabilitation Clinical Manager manages multi-programs and multi-disciplines rehab related activities, including but not limited to business development, program development, human resources matters, revenue and expenses, labor tracking, standards of practice, policies and procedures, performance improvement initiatives, and staff competency. Implements and monitors standards of excellence in all activities.  Ensures adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable, local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
