Our multi-facility campus includes 148 acute-care beds at Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen, 60 psychiatric care beds in the nearby Metroplex Behavioral Health Center, and 25 beds at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. Through this Metroplex Health System, we offer a Women’s Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Endoscopy Center, Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, ICU, PCU, ED, imaging, surgery, home health services, and more.



Qualifications
Working in our ED as a PRN Nurse you have two (2) levels to choose: 
 

Float Requirements for RN Float (Level I):

  • 1 year plus of M/S or 1 year of ER
  • Commitment of 4 shifts/4-week period. Max of 59 hours per pay period.
  • 2 weekend shifts required 
  • 2 major and 2 minor holidays per year
  • $34 hour plus differentials
  • This would be a RN who wants 1 dept and commits to 4 shifts in a 4 week 

Float Requirements for RN Float (Level II):

  • 2 years plus of M/S or 2 year of ER
  • Commitment of 8 shifts/4-week period. Max of 59 hours per pay period.
  • 4 weekend shifts required 
  • 2 major and 2 minor holidays per year
  • $36 hour plus differentials
  • This would be a RN who wants 1 dept and commits to 8 shifts in a 4 week
