Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full Time Day Shift
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Assists with maintaining and coordinating Performance Improvement Program. 
  • Coordinates evidence-based medicine and performance improvement activities of the clinical staff which include Core Measures and other quality initiatives in facility. 
  • Keeps director informed timely of abstraction changes to Core Measures.
  • Ensures abstraction is occurring according to latest specifications manual.
  • Ensures timely/concurrent review of Core Measures.
  • Collect, analyze and present data related to Core Measures and other performance improvement activities.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Two years of acute care clinical experience required 
  • Florida RN license required
  • BSN preferred
  • Three years of performance improvement experience preferred
  • Two years of management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Joint Commission Compliance preferred
 
Job Summary:

Assists with improving, maintaining and coordinating evidenced-based practice. Actively supports ongoing Joint Commission preparation including unit based audits, record reviews, and tracers; facilitation of standards compliance teams, and education of staff. Provides direct support to departmental and hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program. Facilitates Performance Improvement Teams including development of project goals, measures of success, and support of corrective action implementation.
