Work Hours/Shift:
  • Part Time 16 hours per week
  • Thursday and Friday from 8am - 5PM. 
You Will Be Responsible For:

Operates multi-line phone system for Hospice of the Comforter on a daily basis.  
    1. Answers incoming telephone calls, determines needs of callers and forwards calls to the appropriate personnel or department.
    2. Receives and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
    3. Answers questions about Hospice of the Comforter, providing callers with addresses, directions, and other basic information.
    4. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

A.     Education and Training:   High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.  Associate’s degree (A.A.) in business or related field is preferred.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Administrator.

B.     Experience:  A minimum of 6 months related administrative or clerical experience is required.  Healthcare experience is preferred.

C.     Certificates and Licenses Required:  No certifications or licenses are required.



Job Summary:

The Receptionist provides general clerical support for the daily activities of all Hospice of the Comforter departments including answering phones, greeting guests, assisting with mail, and other clerical tasks.
