Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Handles building-related responsibilities such assigned projects on a timely basis, with accuracy, and with appropriate communication & teamwork.  Assists the front desk Supervisor/Facilities Team with special projects upon request.  Receives calls, questions, and reports of problems regarding building issues; refers to Front Desk Supervisor or Director or takes action as appropriate.  Files Marble Life reports on X drive. 
  • Answers telephone promptly, handles the needs of the caller professionally and expeditiously.
  • Must be alert to surroundings to handle situations that may arise; ie, security, deliveries, protestors, disgruntled visitors, etc
  • Records messages accurately and delivers them to the appropriate individual on a timely basis. 
  • Serves as a liaison for corporate staff and system personnel, responding to inquiries regarding all facets of corporate operations.  


Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • An associate degree in business or office management is desirable or comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years as a receptionist/secretary with the above level of education and/or experience. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth flow of business through the AHS Headquarters. This individual facilitates communication and personal interaction between building visitors, outside callers, and AHS/AHS staff.  The person in this position interacts with community leaders, AHS Board members, hospital executives, attorneys, bankers, vendors and service organizations.  This individual is frequently the first contact a guest has with the corporate offices and the person in this position must have exceptional interpersonal skills.  He/she must be professional, pleasant and knowledgeable.  The individual in this position possesses full secretarial skills and handles projects as assigned.  This individual is fully knowledgeable of Facilities Management policies and procedures, including housekeeping, maintenance and safety issues.  This individual must be able to handle all duties in relation to the front desk at both the AHS Headquarters and Solutions Center.
