Program Director – Integration – Executive Offices – Orlando

AdventHealth Orlando seeks to hire a Program Director who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.



Facility Profile:

Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,107-bed AdventHealth Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. Florida Hospital Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year.

Work Hours/Shifts:

M-F, 8am-5pm



Job Summary:

The Integration Program Director (IPD) works closely with the Strategic Transaction Team (STT) to build an integration plan from the deal blueprint. IPD oversees integration and deployment of all functions (working with HR, Ops, IT, Finance, clinical) to assure that the terms and objectives set forth in the Strategic Deal are implemented in a timely and efficient manners. IPD also provides a 'reality check' to the STT on the feasibility and timeline of deal implementation by drawing from subject matter expertise. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.



Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Change management facilitation skills
  • Project Management software, proficient computer skills in MS Office
  • Demonstrates desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Prior experience launching new business and standing up new deals, Healthcare experience (Preferred)
  • Able to optimize existing resources to achieve economies of scales/synergy. (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field (Preferred)
  • Three years of experience in health care operational leadership
  • Five years of equivalent experience with preference for experience in Healthcare transactions
  • Experience in operational unit mergers or acquisitions (Preferred)
  • Leading diverse business functions (Preferred)
  • Working with large business entities, > 5,000 employees (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Operationalize implementation of Strategic Deals by executing the plan and overseeing the tactical details of the implementation plan. Optimizes implementation plan design by leveraging existing resources within Florida Hospital and selecting high value external resources as needed.
  • Leads the implementation of the deals pacing integration efforts to meet deadlines, ensure all proper cultural alignment is embedded during implementation and manages change management including leading the onboarding of new employees, manages external and internal communication plan to all stakeholders, coordinates IT integration,
  • Works closely with owners, deal owners, Project Managers, Strategic Transaction Program Director. Lead Service Level Agreements with support functions that lead and manage implementation.
  • Manages interdisciplinary functions and coordinate their activities. Develops timeline for implementation and informs timelines to stakeholders.
  • OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGET/FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Responsible for execution of identified operational and financial synergies
  • Ensures identified capital needs are deployed within time and budget parameters
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Validates feasibility of implementation plan and builds preliminary implementation plan with STT as part of the deal narrative package
  • Understands how to operationalize the blueprint of the business plan.
  • PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the changing healthcare market and adjacent industry competitors
  • COMMUNITY RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Will function as liaison for external communication related to specific transaction
  • STAFFING/LABOR/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Onboards new employees and foster an atmosphere of trust.
