ADVENTHEALTH MEDICAL GROUP PEDIATRIC ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY AT ORLANDO

AHMG Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Department at Orlando has a great opportunity for a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with first assist certification to join a growing practice. The role involves orthopedic management of patients ranging from newborn to early adulthood. This individual would work in outpatient and inpatient settings as well as assist in surgery.
Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children (formerly Florida Hospital for Children) is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds including a 22 bed PICU, 10 bed Cardiac ICU, 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. Our unparalleled network consists of 27 hospitals across the state with Walt Disney Pavilion at the center and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree in nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Experience with pediatric orthopedics
• First assist surgical experience
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
• Current, valid Florida PA-C license (or eligible); APRN with 1st assist certification
• Certification through NCCPA or other nationally recognized certification body
