Organizational Transformation Change Partner – Organizational Effectiveness – Maitland

Maitland seeks to hire Organizational Transformation Change Partner who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:

Established in 1908, Florida Hospital is one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country, caring for more than a million patients each year. The Maitland Office Plaza houses our highly skilled teams that support our hospital system including Marketing, Patient Financial Services, Revenue Management, the Credit Union and Human Resources. The Trickel Building, a two-story office structure, creates an atmosphere of health and healing, with a healthy-style café and quaint chapel. Job Summary:

The Organizational Transformation Change Partner is responsible for partnering with organizational leaders, human resources and project teams to drive business-critical change initiatives. The primary focus of this role will be to develop change strategies and governance processes while creating and implementing change plans. The position will minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement by driving faster adoption and higher proficiency with changes impacting employees. The role will engage the organization at all levels to ensure desired business results are achieved or exceeded. Integrates and leverages AHS culture framework (mission, vision, values, service standards) to shape and synchronize communications and project management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service that is equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in organization development, human resources management, business or a related field
  • Experience leading change management and communication efforts for multiple complex implementations such as organizational design.
  • 3+ years of communications and change management, transformation experience
  • Extensive understanding of change principles and methodologies with the ability to define a flexible, unique approach based on the organizational function and working environment
  • Experience leading full lifecycle change management projects
  • Experience leading and executing against a complex, comprehensive communications plan
  • Track record of delivering at C-Suite level, major business change programs including executive alignment and stakeholder management
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven track record
  • Highly developed communication skills with expertise in producing organization-wide communications and development of a communication strategy
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Mastery of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges, healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong demonstration of analytical skills and ability to prepare executive ready materials
  • Master’s degree in related field of study (Preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare organizations (Preferred)

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

  • Certified in at least one professional certification such as Organizational Development, Culture, Change or Organization Design OR
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
  • Certification in Prosci Change Methodology (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop change strategies and governance processes while creating and implementing change plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement.
  • Provide organizational transformation change consulting across the organization to support leaders and teams in achieving best in class application of Florida Hospital’s suite of change tools and strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for transformation initiatives to ensure ongoing change agility and speed of adoption while managing resistance to organizational change.
  • Interact regularly with senior leaders across the system to ensure alignment and buy-in for all change initiatives.
  • Execute on change management initiatives to support full life-cycle of change efforts from assessment to implementation to sustainment and impact analysis. Ensure the appropriate application of change management methodology and tools to achieve optimal results and business outcomes.
  • Cohesively manage a portfolio of change initiatives/projects.
  • Support leaders in the chartering of initiatives and identifying measures of success.
  • Ensure post implementation assessment of end-user adoption and utilization of the change while ensuring ongoing stakeholder updates, identification of and reporting of impact.
  • Identify, monitor and track change metrics to ensure achievement of business outcomes.
