You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Working in conjunction with departmental and hospital leadership, identifies areas of opportunity for improvement. Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis to support recommendations.
  • Serves as project coordinator for assigned initiatives.  Manages assigned projects from discovery phase through implementation under the directions of his/hers superior.
  • Applies statistical techniques, data mining and direct observations to evaluate processes and performance.
  • Conducts research as required to successfully complete assigned projects. Collects data to support value-add improvements and outcomes, operational efficiencies and/or improved financial performance. Maintains meaningful and impactful analyses and tracking metrics based on collected data.
  • Prepares various reports, dashboards and PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate initiates to appropriate leadership and key stakeholders.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or healthcare-related field
  • Minimum one to three years of experience in business, finance or healthcare-related field.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance or healthcare-related field
  • At least three years’ experience in business, finance or healthcare-related field.
  • Experience in healthcare analyitics
  • Project management experience
  • Process management experience

Job Summary:

Under the direction of department leadership, the position is responsible for assisting in identifying new projects and initiatives designed to improve efficiency and/or achieve cost savings. Maintains qualitative/quantitative reports, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations to support departmental initiatives and activities. Ensures that assigned data/reports are distributed timely and accurate data is presented in a format that can be readily used to monitor/improve performance. Prepares materials and participates at relevant meetings with divisional and hospital leadership.
