GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting. Communicates with nurses / team leaders / coworkers, as appropriate about the patient's clinical condition. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition. Additionally, is able to perform general Patient Care Technician duties in all departments with adequate supervision

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Provide bedside patient care including vital signs, blood sugars, baths, feeding and repositioning

 Provide assistance to nurse when providing patient care


• Provide excellent customer service


Qualifications


You will be responsible for:
  • Provide bedside patient care including vital signs, blood sugars, baths, feeding and repositioning
  • Provide assistance to nurse when providing patient care
  • Provide excellent customer service
    What will you need?
  • Basic care to patients of all ages
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Maintains CPR certification
  • Maintains current Nursing Assistant Certificate in the state of Kentucky preferred
  • Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant Program preferred
  • One year CNA experience preferred
