Work Hours/Shift:


You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Prepares radiopharmaceutical for administration by injection, ingestion and inhalation. 

  • Demonstrates proper use of imaging equipment and procedures associated with imaging patients of all ages. 

  • Provides appropriate documentation. 

  • Coordinates exams with other departments to provide for efficient procedure timeframe and high quality patient care. 

  • Works closely with radiologist to identify abnormalities resulting from exam.


What You Will Need:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) from an accredited School of Radiology and/or 1-2 year formal school for Nuclear Medicine Technology, and one year related experience and/or training.

  • Must hold a current BLS certificate from American Heart Association
  • Must hold a current license or be eligible for license in the state of Texas.

  • Be in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registered in Nuclear Medicine (N), and/or in good standing with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) registered as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).  

Job Summary:

Provides high quality diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals on a variety of patient age groups.  Provides principles of radiation protection to each group.  Assists in the diagnosis and management of illness and injury by providing high quality imaging.
