You will be responsible for:

  • Oversees the day to day operations of the Nuclear Medicine (NM) section, ensuring that adequate staffing is maintained along with appropriate patient throughput.
  • Provides leadership to Nuclear Medicine staff by utilizing problem solving abilities and maintaining a positive attitude. 
  • Operates special equipment in administering radionuclides to patients.
  • Checks quality of radionuclides purchased. 
  • Monitors contaminated articles to ensure that radioactivity is not spread to unaffected persons.
  • Keeps a record of tests conducted, test results, use and disposition of radionuclide and body products containing radionuclide. 
  • Possesses proficiency with the Radiology PACS computer and Cerner Radiology Information computer Systems.

What will you need?

  • Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
  • Kansas State LRT License
  • BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
