Job Summary:

The Metrics and Measurement Strategist is responsible for the development, production, monitoring and reporting of learning and succession management analytics used to drive the value of leader development for Florida Hospital. This position functions as the lead business partner to provide analysis and evaluation to ensure learning and development strategies continue to be innovative and relevant for future development and growth of Florida Hospital employees. Interfaces with all levels of leadership within Operational Excellence and other key areas to understand impacts of leader development and other business processes. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

  • Five years progressive experience in data analytics related field, with emphasis in healthcare and/or learning and development fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Education, Human Resources, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS technologies (PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Expert use of Excel and other analytics and/or database software
  • Ability to independently execute data extraction, preparation and compilation; selection of appropriate methods; interpretation and summary of results, and communication to stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data quality processes
  • Executive-level presentation skills/facilitation skills
  • Ability to train and coach others in analytical concepts
  • Understand information security fundamentals
  • Detail-oriented, excellent planning and organization skills, strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept at establishing partnerships and building relationships
  • Ability to think strategically and critically in developing measurement solutions
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Psychology, Education, or related field (Preferred)
  • Ten years’ experience in applied statistical analysis within the healthcare environment (Preferred)
  • Experience in leadership roles within organizations; experience in client relationship management and consulting; healthcare experience/education (Preferred)
  • Strong in the following competencies: Results orientation, Learning Agility, Client Orientation, Data Analytics (Preferred)
  • Expertise in statistical analysis methodologies and technologies (Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills: listening, confronting, challenging, straightforwardness, rapport, trust, warmth, compassion, humor (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data analytics (Preferred)
  • Organization Development or Change Management experience (Preferred)

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

  • Certified in at least one recognized assessment tool (i.e. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC Behavioral Assessment, etc.); OR
  • Certified in two or more analytics or coaching programs, or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) certification highly preferred
  • Certified or academically qualified to use assessment tools (Preferred)
  • Data Analytics certification (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adopts and develops analytic best practices and initiatives.
  • Facilitates the definition and implementation of standards for metrics, tools, and processes supporting applicable analytical services and reporting for the Leadership and Talent Development team.
  • Partner with Leadership and Talent Development team members, HRIS, AIT and other teams to implement analytic solutions to continuously improve data reporting including creation of database(s) to compile all relevant records to create reporting solutions.
  • Leads the development of appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms including the maintenance of dashboards and other reports to build accountability and measure result.
  • Communicates the value of advanced analytics to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of technical skill either written or verbal.
  • Manage projects that require multiple resources, dependencies, and ensuring objectives are delivered on time.
  • Function as subject matter expert on analysis and evaluation of learning and development metrics, including researching new technologies, analysis methods or best-in-class practices.
  • Prepares and delivers reporting and facilitation to key stakeholders providing insights they can use to drive strategy, actions and deliverables to develop leaders across the enterprise.
