Marketing Strategist –Marketing – Orlando

AdventHealth Orlando seeks to hire a Marketing Strategist who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:

Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year.

Work Hours/Shifts:

M-Th 8AM-5PM, F 8AM-2:30PM

Job Summary:

The Marketing Strategist works with the Marketing Manager, coordinates day-to-day marketing planning and execution for key service lines. Applies working knowledge of market research and analytics to develop and organize plans that competitvely differentiate AdventHealth and ensures the growth of volume, market share, share of spend and/or brand awareness. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to advance the service line’s strategic vision. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

  • Introductory management and advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a matrixed work environment
  • Knowledge and skills to manage integrated marketing programs, including: marketing planning; creative concepting and execution; corporate communications; digital and social media; project management, event planning; research analysis; and physician relations
  • Strong collaborator - drives accelerated results through ideas, relationships and actions
  • Effective oral and written skills communication, proven relationship-building skills among executives, staff, physicians, and community partners
  • Sound critical thinker with the ability to analyze data with attention to detail and accuracy in order to make smart decisions and recommendations that produce measurable results
  • Continuous improvement orientation in the areas of project management and professional development
  • Knowledge of Microsoft computer hardware and software
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Three (3) years of marketing experience
  • Experience in emerging digital media and technologies (Preferred)
  • Experience attracting, hiring, retaining and developing teams and individuals (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth’s Core Values of Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own it as outlined in the organization’s Performance Excellence Program.
  • Manages the day-to-day strategic marketing efforts for assigned service lines. Contributes to the development of annual marketing plans; setting goals, strategies and tactics to ensure operational business goals are met.
  • Facilitate physician relationships to enhance consumer marketing efforts through lectures and events; collaborates with CHN and FHMG on digital and direct marketing strategies.
  • Supports the development of direct-to-consumer physician-specific marketing initiatives to drive volumes and enhance marketing efforts of new and current physicians to drive referrals and grow market share.
  • Provides marketing leadership with ROI reports to ensure business goals are met, as well as provide input in the development of key community relationships, affiliations and partnerships.
  • Supports team to drive the execution of marketing strategies and ensure overall business objectives are met. Assists with resources and strategy development.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring that execution of brand strategy is consistently maintained across all areas of responsibility.
  • Manage service line budget, ensuring timely reporting and fiscal responsibility.
