Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:

•   Adheres to the policies and procedures as related to the clinical area.

•   Responsible for the application of guidelines and standards in accordance with current practices.

•   Patient Care activities include, but not limited to:

•   Prioritizing work utilizing the Electronic Medical Record

•   Reviews medical record to assess needs

•   Completing assessments, and data histories


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

•    Associate’s degree in Nursing. 

•   LVN or LPN to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State.

•   BLS upon hire

 

 

Job Summary:

 

Performs Direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served; The Licensed Vocational Nurse is under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and the assigned charge nurses. This care is consistent with the hospital accountabilities, Standards of Practice and in support of the Nursing Service and patient care goals. Actual roles and tasks may vary depending upon the unit or department assigned. Effectively communicates with the Nursing Leadership and the physicians with any patient needs.
