Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time Nights
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Performs nursing care for assigned patients within the limitations of licensure and nursing department policy and licensure.
- Implements nursing actions to achieve patient care goals.
- Participate in the evaluation of quality of patient care and outcomes based on care and treatments Administered.
- Assists the patient care team with formulating the plan of care and updates according to policy.
- Participates as a member of the Virtual Nurse Care Team that includes: Virtual RN, bedside RN, and CNA.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Minimum of Technical Certificate in Practical Nursing
- One year experience as an LPN
- Previous healthcare experience
- Previous experience in designated department
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides fundamental physical and psychological nursing care to patients as part of the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the hospital’s mission, physician and patient/s expectations. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) shall be responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based upon the individual’s educational preparation and experience in nursing.
