Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days Shift

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Keeps patient tray line stocked, cleaned, and organized.
  • Prepares cold food and beverages according to recipe and production needs.
  • Takes inventory of nursing pantries, prepares and assembles and stocks bulk nourishments; rotates, cleans and sanitizes following HACCP guidelines. 
  • Maintains daily accuracy in documentation for billing.
  • Delivers trays to patients using two patient identifiers and following policy for isolations, diabetic trays and other situations as directed.
  • Provides leadership while working to assure that personnel are performing required duties.
  • Maintains condition and cleaning of floors, work stations and equipment used in performance of all duties.
  • Assists in putting up stock, rotating stock, labeling and dating prepared foods.
  • Will to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

What You Will Need:

  • At least three-year experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry.
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Must have basic math skills and ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Good customer service skills required.
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision

Job Summary:

Under with the FANS management team, the Lead Dietary Aide is responsible for the preparation, set up, serving, and operation of the patient tray line. Assisting management in the planning, directing, and evaluation of production and presentation of food and service for Room Service operations. Maintains organized work stations, and ensure proper flow of patient trays. Ensures staff is following all policy and procedures to create the best possible patient experience. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and maintains safety standards.
