The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of the national sourcing efforts to develop a robust pipeline of talent in support of efficient fulfillment of Adventist Health System’s hiring needs. Works closely with Sourcing Manager, Recruiting Strategy Team Leads, and facility management to understand position requirements and establish effective sourcing venues. Sourcing also works on specialized hard to fill roles that traditionally might have gone to search. The sourcing team mimics traditional search firms but from the framework of an internal talent acquisition department. The Sourcing Specialist is expected to meet or exceed hires metric for position.
What you will be responsible for:
  • Develops and executes recruitment sourcing strategy to ensure a constant flow of high quality leads and names into assigned key pipelines and requisitions.
  • Create advanced research techniques to find top health care talent through various mediums including databases, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods.
  • Meet or exceed hires target metric for position.
  • Sell potential candidates on the benefits of working at the various facilities in order to get them interested in positions. 
  • Screen candidates to determine suitability for positions.
  • Successfully develop internal relationships with recruiters and hiring managers.
  • The ability to create and present sourcing strategies to executives and other stake holders.
  • Gathers and prepares data to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategy.
  • Analyzes and reports on sourcing metrics to Sourcing Manager
  • Implements best practices to continually increase the number, speed, and quality of hires.
  • Continuously builds candidate pipeline and maintains responsibility for ongoing candidate relationship management.
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies in order to properly identify new venues for attracting qualified candidates

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
  • 2 years of experience as either a corporate Sourcing Specialist or Recruiter
  • Ability to use sourcing techniques such as Boolean, and data mining.
  • Experience sourcing with major sourcing tools Indeed, LinkedIn.
  • Experience with either ATS or CRM systems.
