Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth’s Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork as outlined in the organization’s Performance Excellence Program.
  • Manages departmental statistical reporting and verification.
  • Assures capital requests are processed timely and monitors and communicates status to leadership.
  • Maintains and distributes the weekly capital log.
  • Assures all statistics entered in all relevant systems.
  • Maintains the departments charge reconciliation worksheet.
  • Assist A/P coders as necessary.
  • Provide adhoc/query reports as needed.
  • Monthly Capital spend reporting.
  • Tracks and maintains the physician payment log. 
  • Assures appropriate physician accruals are communicated to the Controller and Division.
  • Submits physician payment request to leadership as needed.
  • Maintains productivity data for hospital.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a Business-related field is required.
  • Two years job related accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare industry setting, using an automated accounting system.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment (calculator, computer, typewriter, etc.) and Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of People Soft.
Job Summary:

Performs all verification and control functions related to the hospital, statistical reporting, productivity reporting and capital process tracking. In addition, compiles monthly financial statements and assists with financial reporting.
