Financial Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Manager interacts with Florida Hospital Administrators, AHMG CFO, and other members of Leadership to provide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information.  He/She coordinates the development, implementation and deployment of strategic information and identifies financial improvement opportunities within the organization including revenue, cost, efficiency and productivity.  He/She may assist in the training and development of Financial Analysts.  He/She demonstrates the ability to exercise objective independent judgment in developing financial recommendations for management.  He/She performs ad hoc reporting for the CFO and other members of Leadership, as needed.
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to sit, walk, climb, stand, turn, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, lift at least 25 lbs, carry, finger, hold, talk, see with a good field of vision, and hear; Communicate on the telephone and directly with physicians and leadership; read paperwork, printouts and computer screens; Requires manual dexterity sufficient to maintain files, operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and other small desk equipment and computer.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a business related field is required.  Master’s Degree is preferred.
  2. 1 year of experience in healthcare industry finance/accounting is strongly preferred and/or 3-5 years of overall experience in Finance/Accounting/related field.
  3. Ability to compile and analyze financial information on trended data for financial decision making. 
  4. Ability to work in a project-oriented environment. 
  5. Strong interpersonal and managerial skills. 
  6. Computer skills including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets. 
  7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
  8. Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
CPA is preferred.
