PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure Central Texas Medical Center and other entities general ledger are kept accurately.
  • Performs financial analysis utilizing various systems used by the hospital or any of the affiliates.
  • Prepares monthly management reporting for administrative team, Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Assists in preparation of the global and departmental budget at the direction of the Director of Finance, assisting leadership in building departmental budgets.
  •  Utilizes database software (HPM) to generate monthly reports and ad hoc reports.Acts as Premier benchmarking coordinator, assuring assessment tools are maintained and accurate data submitted timely (quarterly).  Also educates and counsels leadership regarding resulting Premier benchmarking reports.
  • Maintains accuracy of and reports on system-wide productivity monitoring system (VisionWare).  Assists leadership in effective utilization of this information.
  • Maintains general ledger records of assigned entities/departments to ensure accuracy of all reporting.
  • Responsible for various special projects requested by the CFO or Director of Finance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four‑year college or university
  • Two to three years related experience and/or training in Accounting.
  • CPA certification Preferred
