Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time Days 
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Preparation of monthly variance reporting at the department level and monitoring and controlling capital.
  • Assist leadership in building departmental budgets.
  • Perform as a resource for Organization leaders in areas of reimbursement and payment methodologies.
  • Analyze financial statement trends and report findings to CFO.
  • Evaluate the reimbursement of Organization programs to determine the profitability of service lines.
  • Use cost/managerial accounting techniques to review and explain productivity.
  • Prepare reports as needed, reviewing work for reasonability and producing highly predictable, accurate results.
  • The individual in this position should work efficiently and effectively with peers in finance, department leaders at the facilities and executives.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Three years of healthcare experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Five years of healthcare experience
  • CPA
 
Job Summary:

Plans, directs and supervises all technical and administrative aspects of the budgeting process for the Organization which includes planning and monitoring the capital and operational budget. This includes preparation of monthly variance reporting at the department level and monitoring and controlling capital. Assists leadership in building departmental budgets. Performs as a resource for Organization leaders in areas of reimbursement and payment methodologies. Analyzes financial statement trends and reports findings to CFO. Evaluates the reimbursement of Organization programs to determine the profitability of service lines. Uses cost/managerial accounting techniques to review and explain productivity. Prepares reports as needed, reviewing work for reasonability and producing highly predictable, accurate results. The individual in this position should work efficiently and effectively with peers in finance, department leaders at the facilities and executives. Day-to-day responsibilities require good use of judgment regarding timely and appropriate communication with the Organization staff. Recognizes the need for teamwork and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
