Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

•    Provides direct patient care in a safe, sensitive, and timely manner according to the departmental policies and procedures.

•    Supports the patient care process in the unit by performing a variety of duties and copes effectively with diverse populations in stressful situations resulting from trauma and illness.

•    Cleans, stocks, and re-stocks rooms with supplies between patients or as needed.

•    Responsible for compiling and maintaining accurate documentation on each patient including, but not limited to: spiritual care, admission inventory of valuables, vital signs, and graphic record completion.


What You Will Need:

•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

•    Three to six months related experience and/or training.

•    Completed program from accredited facility for EMT-B, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant and corresponding Certificate.

•    Current BCLS certification

Job Summary:

The Critical Care Technician (CCT) is part of the Intensive Care Unit patient care team who collaboratively works in a complimentary and assistive role with nursing.  The CCT performs a variety of RN delegated tasks under the supervision of the RN.   The CCT assist the nursing staff in providing patient care accordance with training, competence, and skill.  The CCT is knowledgeable of and follows all CTMC policies and procedures.  Consistently assists the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, adequately stocked, and safe patient environment.
