Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Mines existing System data sources to extract and analyze drug utilization information.
  • Assists in the development of performance metrics and aids in the collection, aggregation and reporting of pharmacy specific results to various stakeholders.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of therapeutic areas and advises the Corporate Clinical Manger and facility-based pharmacy staff on new drugs, developing trends and best practice recommendations.
  • Facilitates the development and implementation of treatment guidelines, protocols, formulary changes, and critical pathways.
  • Demonstrates the ability to have effective conversations with physician leaders, both at a system level and at a local level.

What You Will Need:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Minimum of 3 years working in a hospital pharmacy, with progressive leadership responsibilities
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate pharmacy residency program
  • Licensed pharmacist. License from a State in which AdventHealth operates a facility is preferred but not required.
  • A broad and thorough knowledge of pharmacy therapeutic areas.
  • Proven ability to lead a project to successful completion
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and inputs and turn that data into actionable activities/plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead virtual workgroups
Job Summary:

The Corporate Clinical Coordinator, Pharmacy Services is responsible for facilitating the development, implementation, and continuous quality improvement of clinical pharmacy services across AdventHealth. Duties will include developing formulary monographs and drug use policies, advising on order sets and care plans, advising on drug contract decisions, and participating in multidisciplinary committees. This position will also be responsible for the execution of various pharmacy related projects. The Corporate Clinical Coordinator, Pharmacy Services will have a particularly strong relationship with the clinical pharmacy leaders at the facility level and will work along with the Corporate Clinical Manager to further clinical pharmacy best practices and medication stewardship activities.
