Texas Health Hospital Mansfield located in Mansfield, Texas is scheduled to open in late 2020. It will offer a full variety of services including a 24/7 emergency room, general surgery, women’s care, orthopedics and interventional cardiology. The project is a joint-venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth. The two faith-based organizations have a long history of collaboration.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) position.

The CMO is a physician who serves as facilitator, coordinator and liaison for all medical affairs.


  • Regulatory compliance with respect to the medical staff, bylaws, rules and regulations
  • Oversees the credentialing process for the medical staff
  • Helps facilitate communication and coordination between the medical staff and administration
  • Serves on the executive team and coordinates/collaborates with other senior executives
  • Maintains clinical practice 2.5 days/week



•    MD / DO degree from an accredited program

•    MBA or master’s degree in a related field (preferred)

•    Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience

•    At least 10 years in a physician executive/leadership role

•    Board Certified in recognized medical specialty

•    Current Texas license or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Texas licensure endorsement

•    Experience building relationships with physicians

•    Strategic thinking and long-range planning skills
