We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Assistant position that will be based in our Legal Services department. This position services our Integrated Health Services legal team and is based at our Keller Administration Office in Maitland, FL.
This position is responsible for the support of 3 attorneys.
Specific job duties include:
  • Maintains Outlook Calendar, scheduling appointments, etc.
  • Answers telephone calls for the attorneys
  • Drafts documents, including preparation, proofreading and editing
  • Maintains internal logs
  • Maintains files for all correspondence, documents, reports, etc.
  • Creates reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint as requested
  • Assists Attorneys with completion of Legal Forms (i.e., IRS forms, federal government forms, etc.)
  • Processes incoming mail, faxes and receives service of process for the office
  • Monitors and replenishes office supplies and equipment
  • Prepares expense reports for attorneys
  • Other responsibilities as needed/assigned
Experience Requirements:   
  • Previous experience as a legal assistant
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and grammar skills required
Education Requirements:
  • High School degree plus four (4) or more years of law firm experience
  • Associates degree plus three (3) or more years of law firm experience preferred.
Software Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
