We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Vice President of Brand position based at our corporate office in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Reporting to SVP Marketing and Innovation, this role is a key team member of the AdventHealth Strategy office.
As a faith-based organization, it is the intention of AdventHealth to identify and employ executive leaders who are professionally competent and who provide leadership that is consistent with our mission. It is required that the candidate serve the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ and demonstrate proficiency in the AdventHealth executive leadership competencies.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Brand is responsible for leading the organization as an innovator in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare branding. This includes leading results-oriented teams that are experts in marketing, brand strategy, mass advertising campaigns, creative design, photography, videography, account management and marketing analytics. This Vice President will define the strategic framework and actionable road map for AdventHealth’s national brand transformation, applying solutions to accelerate the achievement of AdventHealth’s vision and strategic imperatives.
Job Duties:
  • Lead brand and creative services strategy and operations supporting the strategic vision and business goals of AdventHealth nationally
  • Serve the regional marketing VPs and leaders in the marketplace for strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of efforts in all aspects of the national brand
  • Provide executive oversight and strategic direction to innovate and deliver ideas and solutions based on market research, focus groups, surveys, user experience studies and the latest trends in branding and visual design
  • Translate business goals into a well-defined brand strategy
  • Develop overarching and campaign/initiative-specific brand plans that include specific goals, target markets and audiences, creative assets, performance evaluation, and optimization
  • Display extensive knowledge on integrating digital and traditional channels effectively
  • Lead, manage, and elevate the Brand & creative service teams, cross-functional teams and partner/vendor relationships, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervision efforts
  • Give significant attention and care to relationships and strategic alignment at regional locations
  • Collaborate across a highly matrixed organization to understand business, patient care, and marketing challenges and offer solutions as it relates to the representation of the brand
  • Evaluate, demonstrate and communicate the business impact of branding campaigns
  • Extensively evaluate customer service operations and benchmark against best-in-class service experiences
  • Develop and document the ideal future state for patient experience, including opportunities for cross-selling and increased loyalty
  • Lead the alignment of brand standards, advising and refining as appropriate
  • Collaboratively lead work with national advertising agency of record
  • Manage multimillion dollar national advertising & operational budgets
  • Lead internal marketing and creative services for the corporate office
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of clinical practices and processes, legal and regulatory requirements and mandates, and the ability to gather and evaluate data and outcome results to use in planning hospital operations, budgets, and process improvement
  • Exceptional people management, leadership skills including decision-making, team-building, and organizing; capacity to relate to people in a manner that wins confidence and establishes support
  • Financial skills including budgeting, analyzing, and planning
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively express ideas and views through public speaking, presentations, reports and professional correspondence
  • Strategic vision and thinking. Ability to position the organization for the future, looking beyond the present situation to conceptualize key trends and identify changing market demands.
  • Strong business acumen, intelligence, and capacity; able to think strategically and implement tactically.
  • Approaches work as an interconnected system. Ability to understand major objectives and break them down into meaningful action steps.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the position.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Meets AdventHealth mission-related qualifications for senior executive leadership, second-tier, as specified in Corporate Executive policy (CEX114 as approved).
  • Exemplify a Christian lifestyle and lead in living out the SHARE principles
  • Strong commitment to AdventHealth mission and ethics
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years in a senior management position, including oversight of marketing strategy and/or team(s) in related fields; ten (10) years senior management experience preferred
