Qualifications

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishes department goals and objectives and actively strives to achieve the established goals.
  • Ensures department’s compliance with all licensing and accrediting bodies and federal, state laws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.
  • Ensures the medication dispensing system, profiling system, and intravenous therapy distribution system functions are carried out in an accurate, effective, and cost efficient manner.
  • Ensures the cost-effective and efficient purchasing of all medications, pharmaceuticals, and other supplies as needed.
  • Ensures the effective and efficient integration of pharmacies to maximize economies-of-scale and cost efficiencies.
  • Establishes, promotes, and maintains a clinical pharmacy program in concert with patient, physician, nursing needs.
  • Completes and submits such records and reports as required by accrediting bodies and federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Provides for and ensures the initial and annual evaluation of the competence of the Pharmacy staff.

What will you need?

  • Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
