Work Hours/Shift
Per Diem/Nights

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Deliver routine and continuous respiratory therapy including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy and bronchial hygiene.
  • Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation.
  • Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases which may include lactic acids.  Places arterial lines.
  • Operates as support staff for cardiopulmonary diagnostics.     


What You Will Need:

  • Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapy program and AA degree or higher.
  • Must be a RRT or CRT with 4 years of experience and equivalent competency of an RRT.
  • Must have valid Florida license.
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • PALS and/or NRP must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required by the incumbent's requirements at the primary hospital.

Job Summary:Provides routine, emergent and critical cardiopulmonary care under the direction of a physician to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
