Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time/Days

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Evaluate the processes that affect billing and collections at the facility level. Train to weaknesses.
  • Validate the PASSR process is being maintained by conducting quarterly audits.
  • Validate Admission packets are transferred to the Business Office timely and that they are completed accurately.
  • Assist with Medicaid Pending accounts over $25K.
  • Validate Insurance verifications are completed and scanned. Waterfall is set up correctly.                 
  • Fill in on a temporary basis during vacancy of Business Office Manager.
  • Visits assigned facilities to assist the Administrator with the needs of the facility by conducting facility visit reports and conducting exit interviews during each visit.                                         
  • Assist with audits; Medicare, Medicaid, Private accounts, and Resident Trust.                      
  • Review month end close pieces that are conducted at the facility level.

Qualifications

What will you need?

  • Must have, as a minimum 5 year’s experience in Skilled Nursing (LTC) including billing and management capacity.
  • Must possess at a minimum, a high school diploma.
  • Multiple facility experience preferred.
  • Must be familiar with UB04 and HICFA 1500
  • Business Office Manager Long Term Care (preferred).
  • Accounts Receivable Long Term Care experience (preferred)
  • Point Click Care (PCC) experience (preferred)

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to train, evaluate and support multiple Business Office Managers (BOM) on all functions related to Accounts Receivable.
