Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time/Day

Pay is $18.49-24/hour (depending on experience)

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Researches prints and manufactures recommendations for proper installations.

  • Operates required tool and test equipment for proper operation.

  • Notifies affected areas for interruption of service during new installation.

  • Assists contractors as needed.

  • Operates required tools and test equipment for maintaining and repair of equipment.

  • Maintains and orders stock materials as needed.

  • Notifies affected areas for interruption of service during maintenance repair.

  • Advises appropriate personnel of equipment in need of replacement.

  • Maintains a clean, hazard free work area.

  • Maintains and demonstrates a positive attitude toward dealing with customers.

  • Acknowledges patients, staff, and physicians promptly.

  • Objectively listens to customer requests or complaints, seeks clarifications as needed, and responds promptly

  • Creates a positive image by demonstrating a professional, courteous manner in all customer encounters.

  • Works towards the common goals of the hospital.

  • Makes decision within the scope of his/her job and consistent with hospital/department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • High School graduate or equivalent or technical certifications of equivalency

  • Six (6) years of responsible experience in refrigeration/air conditioning maintenance and repair duties.

  • Additional applicable experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of three of the educational requirement


Job Summary:

The Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Engineer is responsible for installation of new equipment, maintaining and the repair of all refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
