AdventHealth Maitland seeks to hire a Project Liaison who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:

Established in 1908, AdventHealth is one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country, caring for more than a million patients each year. The Maitland Office Plaza houses our highly skilled teams that support our hospital system including Marketing, Patient Financial Services, Revenue Management, the Credit Union and Human Resources. The Trickel Building, a two-story office structure, creates an atmosphere of health and healing, with a healthy-style café and quaint chapel. The main lobby is filled with lush greenery and a light trickle of water, creating a holistic environment.

Work Hours/Shifts:

Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm

Job Summary:

The Project Liaison serves AdventHealth by providing accurate and timely planning, analysis, and execution of approved projects within Revenue Cycle. Helps support our customers, patients and families, and is compliant with the Management Information Systems standards. Consistently communicates and reports project status to management and customers, prepares time and cost estimates for assigned projects, tracks projects against proposed timelines, updates project plans to reflect actual progress, and escalates encountered situations to the appropriate area with detailed and accurate information. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

  • Proven skills in guiding teams to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Well versed in the project lifecycle, which includes all project deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with data integration programs such as physician, patient care, finance, Meaningful Use data, and any other related data.
  • Comfortable in making presentations to management and customers
  • Comfortable in a complex and changing environment
  • Self-motivated requiring moderate management supervision
  • Ability to multitask including training customers and staff
  • 3 years of project experience such as running reports, extracting and compiling data from different sources
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successfully assesses data project risks and formulates mitigation plans, and delivers successful projects in a timely manner.
  • Conducts project meetings at a manager and/or director level. Develops and manages a project change control process as needed. Effectively communicates with all team members to ensure consistent message regarding goals and content status.
  • Adheres to quality standards and procedures. Reviews quality assurance documentation and checks compliance with application project standards.
  • Completes responsibilities in data collection, analysis, extraction, and reporting. Participates in clinical and outcomes evaluation.
  • Continually reviews available data resources to maintain first-hand knowledge of such resources and where they can be best allocated. Reevaluates current resources to determine project resource surplus and shortfalls.
  • Completes documentation for all phases of project development life cycle. Effectively prepares and presents technical and/or educational documentation of assigned projects and/or systems to enhance the knowledge of our customers and team members.
  • Participates in internal and/or external training programs, staying current and compliant on application or technical skills applicable to assigned duties. Provides annual accomplishments prior to annual review and proactively plans for career development.
  • Acts as a liaison between business users and implementation team, communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors, maintaining awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Revenue Cycle department. Automatically looks for extra work as workload permits.
