Job Description

 Lead Training Analyst
 
JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Training Analyst is responsible for implementing the clinical, revenue cycle, and practice operations training strategies as well as helping to assess their outcomes.  The Analyst will collaborate with the Training Delivery Manager for the region as well as medical group leadership to identify, assess, prioritize, and address training and development needs among physician practice end users and carry out suitable training initiatives that result in standard, efficient, and sustained adoption of technologies used within the medical group.  The Lead Analyst will maintain objectivity by assessing and prioritizing training needs based on performance against and compliance with specific training plan goals and targets.  They will provide leadership and guidance to their team members to ensure standardized delivery among the medical group and Physician Enterprise.
The Lead Analyst will collaborate with the Physician Enterprise Practice Performance team to ensure that training content is developed and constantly refined to improve outcomes, and to ensure that the training that is delivered supports the process improvement and optimization targets identified by the Practice Performance Consultants and Manager. The Lead Training Analyst will need to build and maintain effective relationships with medical group customers as well as peers and other members of the Physician Enterprise Practice Performance team through collaboration with clinical, financial, operations, and access team representatives to ensure the designed training strategies and education programs support best practice work flows.
Successful Lead Analyst candidates will maintain and display subject matter expertise in the athena Collector and Clinicals application, Cerner ambulatory application, and in-depth experience with helping offices achieve quality measures through strong leadership skills.
      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Possesses extensive experiencing implementing and coordinating traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
  • Possesses working knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
  • Demonstrates ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinator, monitor and evaluate) within an ambulatory healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop/make effective presentations and serve as a trainer.
  • Demonstrates prominent participation in practice management and EHR implementation and/or ongoing support and training programs.
  • Displays knowledge and skills necessary to deliver quality educational instruction to all levels of staff (including external agencies) in a clear and concise manner.
  • Possesses ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees, facilitate group processes and change.
  • Demonstrates ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong conflict resolution and customer relation skills.
  • Excels at prioritization and coordination of multiple projects.
  • Communicates strong understanding of applicable policies and procedures.
  • Possesses knowledge in healthcare operations, information technology, revenue cycle, physician practice operations, clinical operations, nursing workflow, physician work flow, and medical information management.
  • Experienced in application of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
  1. Experience with Athena Collector and Athena Clinicals
  2. Other EHR implementation and training experience
  3. Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA)
  4. Expertise in process mapping and process mapping tools
    Project management experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High School graduate required
  • 3+ years training experience in a healthcare environment
  • 2+ years physician practice operations experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in adult learner education/teaching experience
  • Experience with process improvement methods and tools, e.g., Lean/Six Sigma
