Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Builds and maintains relationships with all referral sources
  • Achieves targeted number of admissions per referral facility
  • Sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning will be utilized
  • Monitors marketing activity through call/activity logs and profiling of customers is key for this position
  • Meets department goals for predetermined monthly census and admissions
  • Completes timely and accurate assessments and/or updates
  • Works cooperatively with Director of Business Development and Admission Coordinator to determine the patient’s appropriateness for admission 

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Territory management to achieve assigned goals for growth
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to implement precall planning, feature/benefit selling, uncovering and overcoming objections/barriers, closing
  • Ability to follow through
  • Demonstrated ability to present pertinent information to the different groups who will be involved in referral process: physicians, nurses, case managers, hospital administrators, social workers, families and patients
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to endure prolonged driving
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, or
  • Graduate of an accredited Institution with a degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proof of Insurance, and
  • Either:
    1. Current license of Registered Nurse in Florida, or
    2. Licensure from another State with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement, or
    3. Current AS degree in Respiratory Therapy
    4. Current Florida Respiratory Therapy Licensure
Job Summary:

The Clinical Liaison works within a defined territory to build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including physicians and discharge planners. The Clinical Liaison is responsible for generating patient referrals in order to meet census and admissions goals and for the development and implementation of a territory strategic marketing plan. The Clinical Liaison completes on-site preadmission assessment to evaluate the appropriateness of the referral for LTAC level of care and serves as an educational resource for hospitals, physicians and discharge planners by actively assisting the referring and accepting institutions in addressing the requirements of the patient.
