 Work Hours/Shift: FT/Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Develops/Implements Comprehensive Radiology Policies
  • Develops/Implements an Orientation and training program for Radiology employees
  • Develops/Implements an annual competency program for Radiology
  • Develops/Implements a Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for Radiology
  • Performs Radiology audits as needed for best practice
  • Monitors licensure for all Radiology staff members
  • Evaluates maintenance contracts for Radiology units
  • Participates in State inspections of AHMG Radiology facilities; Develops plan of action for citations
  • Develops policies and procedures for waived and PPM laboratories
  • Develops and implements a training and orientation program for staff members participating in waived or PPM lab testing
  • Maintains up to date laboratory binders in all waived and PPM laboratories
  • Performs and/or coordinates monthly/bi-monthly audits of all practices with waived/PPM labs
  • Participates in pre and post-acquisition assessment processes
  • Participates in licensure applications, setup and training of new offices
  • Travel to AHMG offices is required

What You Will Need:

  •         Minimum of five years of experience in medical offices or similar experience 
  •        Licensed as a Radiology Technician in the State of Florida

Job Summary:

          Radiology - Development of policy and procedures that are reflective of best practice and meet regulatory requirements for the State of Florida.    Coordination of training for affected staff members with competencies on a semiannual or annual basis.   Participation in 90 day and annual reviews for affected personnel.  Recommendations for continuing education appropriate for the type of radiology procedures being utilized in the individual offices.  Maintains appropriate vendor relationships.   Reviews and makes recommendations regarding service contracts and equipment purchases. Laboratory - Oversight of waived and PPM laboratories.   Collaborates with the Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager and team members for development of policies for waived and PPM laboratories.   Oversight and inspection of laboratories on a monthly or quarterly basis.   Training and competencies of staff members involved in laboratory procedures.  Participation in 90 day and annual reviews.
